Its a real shame that a pub has to shell out 2- 3 k a month to Murdoch's sport empire to be considered worthy of staying open.
That said, there was never an awful lot else to attract punters to the Wharf. It was never a big hit, despite being about the only option in Atlantic Wharf
I lived just across the road from the Wharf for a short while and hardly ever went there myself aside from when they had some decent entertainment on.
