The years of oppression perhaps? The destruction of Welsh culture? The exploitation of Welsh people and resources and then saying "Oh f*ck em" after the resources were all used? Tryweryn possibly?

There's quite a strong contingent of Welsh-speakers (myself included) who follow the Welsh National Team, Welsh-speakers to be more nationalistic than non-Welsh-speakers, which is another reason for the booing, the points above still stand though
I am not great fan of the Italians after what the Romans did to my family in AD42 will never forgive them being a true Celt

Welsh speakers being more patriotic than non-Welsh speakers. It's utter nonsense.

Regarding the history you refer to-get over it .Many bad things have happened in history but why continue to bleat about it and carry a chip on your shoulder. Surely your not saying we are squeaky clean when it comes historical events.

Let's take an extreme scenario. If someone killed your father, and then said ah well forget about it. Would you?

he has a point I do know folk in that category, i used to argue with them and say just be proud of your team achievements , you simply let yourself down by the hatred and jealousy of other teams. Rugby is by far the worse for this pathetic behavior.

"Welsh-speakers tend to be more nationalistic"

Nowehere did I say they were more patriotic, nationalistic and patriotic mean different things

    Here's a summary I found
"Nationalism means to give more importance to unity by way of a cultural background, including language and heritage. Patriotism pertains to the love for a nation, with more emphasis on values and beliefs."

I was giving genuine reasons for the booing of God Save the Queen there are other reasons as well but the other ones are more broad I feel (Republicanism being the main one) so I tried giving reasons as to way Welsh people in particular would boo God Save the Queen, I think they are valid reasons for booing the British anthem

Although they could have just been booing because of how bad the tune is

Perhaps as a Welsh speaker you should stick to the Welsh Message Board because the above makes little sense at all.
