No, I can't imagine a situation where they'd dress as a woman to do it. I'm fairly certain this stuff happens regularly - judging by the angst of the knee-jerk-reactionaries - but I've not heard a single case. I have heard a number of stories about blokes just walking into ladies bathrooms and peering over the edge though.
Exactly, here's adz's original point:
I aint taking the piss. This is about the right for people to have identity, ppl should use the bathroom of which gender they want to identify with.
Wish ppl here would accept changes and stop being bigoted
So basically he said that any bloke should be able to mosey into the ladies room if they "identify as a woman". Well that wouldn't pass muster with me I'm afraid.
Well, I'll let him explain what he meant there. It could be that you've misinterpreted. I think adz's main argument was that toilets should be gender neutral, not sure I agree with that, but if that's the basis of his argument then it throws open the whole statement. Over to you adz.
You would check first I think because you are polite.
The right to dispose of my sanitry products, change clothing, change my childs nappy ect in the PRIVACY of other women.
Do you care about my rights? snfh?
Where the hell are the red and yellow card smiley?
Irony
Of course.
Though, in a toilet, it is not easy to tell. is it.
Do you want people to wear badges? Of course you don't.
So, the point , as I understand, that a couple of posters made is that, it is hard to tell. And they are not nesessarily comfortable about that.
Is that wrong? I don't think it is, is it?
As far as I am concerned, for whatever my opinion is worth, I don't have any issue with a Transgender sharing my 'toilet space', but frankly I'm not so keen on trannies riding on the coat-tails (oops!) of that, not that I care, but it causes potential confusion for the very, very, many that do mind.
Where are those peoples rights?
It IS a valid point for people to ask how anybody would tell a TG (effectively same-sex) from a Transvestite (opposite sex).
People do have rights to say that they don't want something foisted on them.
When did that stop?
What's to misinterpret? His point is right there:
ppl should use the bathroom of which gender they want to identify with
Nothing to do with "blokes putting on frocks to use the ladies". The point I disagree with is right there, I don't want any old bloke moseying into the ladies when my wife and daughter are in there and being able to weasel his way out of it by simply claiming he "identifies as a woman". **** that.
Again, if that makes me an idiot or a bigot then I'll happily be one.
