Fabio heading back to Brazil?

Fábio Pereira da Silva has been linked with a move back to Brazil, the country in which he was born in.

The Brazilian full-back who can play on both sides and was a youth product of Fluminese. Where he started his career as a Defensive Midfielder but then made the move to English giants Manchester United.

Cruzeiro fans have called for the club to sign the former Queens Park Rangers player. The Bluebirds defender is adored by the Cardiff faithful for the passion and commitment he puts in to wearing the Cardiff shirt.

Fabio left a message on his Instagram with the caption "See you soon home suit home... Até daqui a pouco..." The second part of his caption either means In a moment or in a little while or 'See you soon'
Is this a message that there is more in the rumours on social media, linking him with a move to Cruzeiro?

Fabio only made 26 appearances last season, with him playing second fiddle to Scott Malone under Russell Slade, which left the Bluebirds fans questioning that choice. With Paul Trollope being urged to play more Welsh players, Declan John could overtake Scott Malone and Fabio in becoming first choice left-back, this could leave Fabio wanting to leave the club for first team football, the club is also still under a cost-cutting exercise, with a number of players meant to be leaving the club this summer and with Fabio's wages reportedly high, this move may not be a surprising one.
