There's literally zero chance that there were 15,013 there today.
10k looked a fair enough shout according to the stream of the game. Even the Canton end looked fairly sparse today.
Mike M told me a season or two ago that season tickets sold are counted in the attendance, whether or not the season ticket holder is actually at the game.
The attendances at the first three home games have been 15,869, 14,014 and 15,013. I've seen some speculation that actual season ticket sales have been around 9,500 to 10,000; given the reports of how empty the ground was today, it would suggest that a lot of season ticket holders aren't bothering to go.
This may be obvious, and I''m expecting a chorus of "no sh1t sherlock" now!
Perhaps It's a straw to clutch at that 4,000 or more actually pay at the gate, or buy tickets in advance.
It looked pitiful on TV. This club really is in a terrible state.
I have a growing regard for those currently attending.
I agree with you Colonel.
The badly informed shi>t is extremely tiresome.
Anybody who gets his kicks through messageboard Schadenfreude must have real problems using his spare time.
However, our club is going down the pan, and if, and I feel it's likely, we go down we won't come back. ****ing hell a billionaire owner and we had to get him.
Didn't know we had a poster called 15013.
Palace have one point from three games in what was described as a transitional period yet their fans seem to be able to look at it more positively. We are rebuilding many of the bridges burnt, we have more local players and are giving youth a chance, we are looking to play positive football and looking to cut down on the waste seen in recent windows - there is lots to be positive about even if the football isn't clicking just at this moment.
Nowhere near 15,000 there today, even with a decent away crowd. I am in the Ninian Stand so difficult to tell how full it was but the other three (Family, Grandstand and Canton) were less than half full. Might have had something to do with it being the bank holiday weekend I suppose. After today's performance we'll be lucky to get as many although it's Leeds of course with their mighty away following which will take up half the Family enclosure as well.
Well the three ST holders next to me weren't there today.
The 2 season ticket holders who sit next to my neighbours seats weren't there today cos they're on holiday.
its a 12,30 kick off on sky , we are lower than you at the present time and your bleating like a set of pussies
leeds will have to travel 200 plus miles to watch the bore draw specialists in action once again , if there is 2,000 leeds fans down there you should be grateful
one thing is for certain your lot wont turn up , they are deserting in their droves, been on sky and been an early kick off will only further the excuse.
