The story that seems to run and run. Tory voters don't believe Corbyn, Labour voters do. Big surprise there.
The day Virgin get told that they broke the law will be the day that the story mysteriously disappears from view.

I think the most accurate thing to say would be that Corbyn's point stands even if he didn't have to. Perhaps a PR cock-up however if people could see beyond that to the issue then who can deny that they pay too much to too often face trains which are late or overcrowded?
Is he popular though?
I guess only time will tell on that one (assuming he's still there in 2020) but I'm not sure what you're basing that popularity on?
I've seen him talking to some black people in a park. I've seen him addressing a crowd of people with a megaphone. I've also seen him being cheered by some socialist worker supporters in a small room.
However I doubt that constitutes the general public at large. A true test of his widespread popularity will be at the next general election.
Saying he's popular with the public because some people like him is like me claiming to be popular with the ladies because I've slept with several in my lifetime.
I think soslow was suggesting that Corbyn is a a pseudo Israel hater, as per the smears.
Another YouGov poll is out - http://news.sky.com/story/poll-boost...-vote-10559035
The bones of it is there's every likelihood based on the figures that Corbyn will win the leadership in a canter, and by a bigger margin than last time.
"Saying he's popular with the public because some people like him is like me claiming to be popular with the ladies because I've slept with several in my lifetime."
An interesting analogy Doc as at some time during your interactions you must have been popular with all of them. Not necessarily all at the same time and those interactions were obviously successful. Corbyn's popularity is partly because of his policies, partly because of his integrity and like you partly because so many of his interactions with the public enthuse more and more people.
As a long time supporter of Palestinian's right to self-determination, freedom from illegal occupation, apartheid and racism, Corbyn comes in for all kinds of smears, lies, fabrications and character assassinations.
That he weathers them when so many would fade and crumble under the strain, merely underlines his suitability to be the leader of the Labour party,
May should call a snap election and obliterate Corbyn. There is ZERO chance the country would allow Corbyn to involved in Brexit negotiations.
The days of mass labour and the need for Labour and the power of unions is dead.
Labour voters have effectively voted for their own death.
Labour voters can continue to lie to themselves that Labour are morally righteous and the Tories are evil.
The young are more self aware than resorting to being forced down the route of working on a production line, relying on labour to shout for them.
Social media and technological advancements have changed everything. Peoples aspirations and expectations are now much higher. Many people now know there is more to life than Labours mundane expectations of people.
Because that is what labour needs to survive. People to not succeed.
