They didn't have one in York for the Yorkshire Athletes who according to the Yorkshire BBC website actually came 13th (one place below their 2012 medals table spot) in the medals table, above Spain, New Zealand and Canada.
The lack of turn interest in Wales for a Team GB in the Olympics. The event was well advertised on news websites and mentioned on TV news regularly over the last week or so.

I also heard it talked about on Radio Cymru and Radio Wales.
I didn't see either article linked to neither did I hear anything on a Radio Wales and if it had been mentioned on Radio Cymru I'd have not understood what they were saying.
Very poorly advertised event as several posters have said and as evidenced by the lack of numbers attending on the night.
Drop a line to Welsh Government, perhaps they'll send you a personal invite if they have another one.
Seriously, what more than advertise it on the BBC Wales website and the local Welsh Newspaper website, along with Welsh Radio could they have done to advertise it? Mainstream BBC were never going to advertise it because it was irrelevant to them. If you want to know what's happening in Wales listen/watch/read programmes/articles relevant to Wales.
I knew about it well in advance, and took the conscious decision that it was irrelevant to me, so did not attend.
