Hi guys - someone in the building I live in shared a code for £15 off a first ride with Uber. Their rates are pretty good so hopefully it could amount to a free ride.
The code is CELESTIACARDIFF
Hope it works for you.

Is Uber in Cardiff being used? I heard it wasn't doing so well.
Used them last night from Cardiff Bay to Pontprennau £8 had a £10 discount for a friend signing up to them !
Happy to nominate anyone on here
Uber is absolutely fantastic, my love for it is fuelled by my hatred of Dragons taxis and their cowboy drivers.
Do they turn up? I've been told they're not reliable

We can all post links to discredit an entire company.
In both your news stories the guilty driver was named Mohammed.
Watch they don't take you down a dark ali and rob you
I imagine what happened with this is that the customer complained to Uber and Uber refunded their money, probably cancelling the drivers account with them in the process. Whereas a taxi on a meter could take the scenic route, particularly if you fall asleep, and at the end you'd get a demand for a cash payment there and then, you'd pay up and that'd be that. Know which I'd prefer.
One advantage of Uber is you can pay by credit card. There are annoyingly few taxi companies in Cardiff that take them.
Most major cities it is commonplace.
Especially annoying if you are using a company credit card for travel expenses.
