It seems to be thing to do at the moment, everyone is gay or transgender on tv or in the news, I'm all for the scales being balanced when it comes to people being fairly represented but like many other things these days the scales are being tipped the other way and that's not right either.
Take this thread for example, from previous posts I would say that none of us are gay, if this thread was on Hollyoaks 4 of us would be gay, 2 bisexual and the op would be going through a sex change
