We need a war on vendinging machines. I propose an armed guard stationed next to every vending machine in the UK, and that we also implement continuous surveillance monitoring of their operating software - and we should keep this data for one year so that we can see exactly what these vending machines are up too.

Good idea.

That's all very well, but how many wasps do they kill?

I couldn't find any stats on that I'm afraid, I did find that more people died from taking selfies last year than by shark attacks, perhaps we need a war on stupidity?
