Anybody on here have them?
Are they worth getting?
Better than low interest bank saving accounts? (cant be any worse surely)
Anyone won anything decent?
Can you withdraw them when you want, or have they got to be x amount of time?
Is there a set amount you can purchase?
I've got 'em and win £25 regularly - a rate of interest far better than the .0003% in those ISAs which organisations are encouraging us to use our full annual allowance in the next few days. (What a joke!)
It's easy to subscribe and withdraw - as you'll see from this link: https://www.nsandi.com/files/publish...s-brochure.pdf
He wins £25 regularly which means he don't win every month, if he had the full 50k then ISAs would be a better option.
Had them for nearly 50 years and not won a penny ever. Rubbish.
I've got £200 worth had them since the 80's won feck all
Thanks for the replies lads. A few yays and nays. I'm not sure I want to go down the ISA's route, as I want a risk free investment. From the people I know who have them, they seem to win quite often.
The more you put in the higher your average chance is , try this
http://www.moneysavingexpert.com/sav...ds-calculator/
According to the calculator, the more invested the better the return. On £50,000, the maximum allowable, the win return on average per year is £500, or 1% tax free. UK CPI inflation is currently 1.8% (RPI is higher), so typically Premium Bond holders have become poorer in real terms.
why not buy shares in rangers? they are cheap at the moment but will rocket in valuyoo next season when we are in euroope. and you will be helping out our majesty the queen.
ISA's are shyte. By the time you pay off the management fees there's ferk all left for you , so you pay a lazy cyunt at the bank who gets a good wedge and you get diddley squat.
Spend , spend , spend ! Saving is a mugs game.
Property is the only good investiment.
Chap I used to work with had the full 50k and another 50K somehow - maybe those were his wife's.
He seemed to get payouts all the time - certainly seemed to banging on about them all the time.
He was always saying that over a year he was doing better than the available saving options.
Obviously, this is just a 2nd hand tale of what some other guy claimed.
