Because they are hungry?

Foodbanks are a Tory thing.
It started off with people on benefits using them, and the Tories said there are many complex reasons why people go to foodbanks.
And now it's the nurses, and the Tories said there are many complex reasons why people go to foodbanks.
Who's it going to be next, and where will it stop?
No they are not a Tory thing.
They started in this country under the last Labour Government.
There are twice as many people as this country using them under a socialist President in France as well.
When you say its the nurses how many do you mean??
And I am not trying to justify their use just clarifying a few things.
Are we saying those wages don't provide enough money to eat , is it a statement by someone, or a fact ??
I found one comment in the independent which suggests it's a poltical thought if not followed by Labours plans in the future.
There doesn't seem to an actual real example, just a uncorroborated statement.
I'm not saying it isn't happening just asking where is the fact.

C'mon, the national debt is £1,730 billion. It was £902 billion when they took office in 2010. Those are ONS numbers.
One reason nurses and others are heading to foodbanks is the average wage is up 68% since 1997, while property prices have gone up 260%. 20 years ago the typical home cost X 3.5 an average annual wage, whereas today it's X 7.6. The PPI giveaway, credit deregulation and minuscule, record-low interest rates all designed to inflate that bubble and promote debt-fuelled consumer spending all while robbing savers to force many into riskier assets like the stock market which is another bubble ready to burst.
