Great to feel the first shoots (shoooot!) of our season starting again.
Would have loved to have seen Saadi play a part tonight as I think he could really do a decent job for us upfront - I hope he is injured and it's not just an excuse to not play him...
I was looking to see if the club were doing an audio commentary for the game, and then realised I have no idea where to look on this new iFollow thing.
I knew what I was doing with CC World and CC Player.
The video links are easy to find - but where have they put the live match coverage? Or is it just that there is no audio for (some of) the pre-season games so there is no pathway yet to the audio commentary part of the site?
I'm not impressed with the new look and new layout so far.
It doesn't look like they are doing anything live for this one. They said it will be recorded and put up on iFollow after.
1-0 Pilkington
Pilkington has done his groin already
I have the full iFollow package being non-UK based. The fixtures list on the official City site says there was to be live video coverage of all pre-season games, but there isn't anything of the sort. All that is on iFollow are the recent videos as you say.
Morris brings the TOTAL COVERAGE
live coverage of sorts

Says Kennedy and Damour the stars of the show. That's promising, would love Damour to be a quality little find for us.
Basically the season is a write off , nothing there tonight , journeymen and wasters . Bring back Slade
If we cannot put two past Taffs Well we are doomed. 😘
Cardiff City (first half): Etheridge; Coxe, Bamba, Morrison (capt.), Bennett; Mendez-Laing, Ralls, Damour, Kennedy; Pilkington (Waite, 14), Ward.
Second half: Etheridge (Burn, 65); Coxe (Young, 65), Manga, Connolly, Abbruzzese; Noone, Waite (Humphries 63), O'Keefe, John; Harris, Meite.
Goal: Pilkington (6)
Attendance: 2,900
It felt like a training game tonight, a very relaxed affair. That said I thought Mendez-Laing looked lively and I was also impressed by some of the youngsters, particularly Cameron Coxe and James Waite.
Anthony Pilikington's early goal separates the sides as City open pre-season with a win
Cardiff City started four new signings at Taff's Well tonight as the Bluebirds beat the hosts 1 - 0.
The goal came from Anthony Pilkington after just six minutes but soon after the Irish international was subbed with an injury.
Neil Etheridge, Loic Damour, Nathaniel Mendez-Laing and Danny Ward all started the match. Lee Tomlin was watching from the sidelines after his move from Bristol City this week.
Neil Warnock was a bit frustrated after the game as he prepares his squad for the new season which starts in three weeks. Next week he takes his squad to Devon and Cornwall for three games.
"We'll be training everyday next week even though I know we've got three games as well, " he said. "We're just building it up.
"I enjoyed the experience but I didn't enjoy the game, to be honest. That's nothing to do with Taff's Well but I get a little bit frustrated when you've not done any tactics and you want to score more goals. But now we have a good week down in Cornwall and we won't do so many changes down there.
"There's some good facilities and some good pitches down there, not too dissimilar to this (Taff's Well), so I'm looking forward to it."
City face AFC Tavistock, Bodmin Town and Plymouth Argyle in the space of five days before returning to South Wales.
There's an away friendly at Shrewsbury to come as well.
Taff’s Well: Gould, Thomas, Mohsin, Hodge, McDonnall, Toghill, Evans, W. Jones, Burnett, M. Jones, Junior Mdwezo.
Subs: Johnson, Howard, Shaw, Fofana, Read.
