Hes clever enough to keep getting jobs in the premiership so you are right there. If he saves them from relegation he will be back in the frame for the England job. If he doesn't he can always blame the players. A clever guy.

Seems a sensible way of quickly identifying who are the leaders or the whingers within a dressing room. This is probably more about finding out about the character of the individual players he has, rather than expecting a solution to what was actually asked.

Why people seem to think he's just asking the players to his job while he puts his feet up is beyond me

Do you reckon they blurted it out In the team meeting or just left notes in his suggestion box about the bad eggs.

Of more concern to me is that you get the same old faces being recycled when it comes to British managers in the Premier league - Pulis will turn up at a struggling club soon. The idea of actually doing something bold and looking outside that group of about five or six would be seen as too much of a risk for clubs that are shitting themselves at the prospect of losing all of that lovely television money. Someone like Chris Wilder would have been in the top flight already a few years ago, because his recent managerial record is absolutely amazing - yes, there has to be a doubt as to whether he would leave Sheffield United for someone like West Brom, but, if I were a fan of one of those struggling sides, I'd be a lot more excited at an appointment like that than another member of the Premier League managerial Freemasons.
