We’re second in the league, best defense in league so changing captains now would be madness.
In any case, I think Morrison is a calmer head than bamba.

Bamba seemed to be organising everything yesterday again - how the defence should position itself, who should go and stay at corners and so on. He even appeared to have a word (of encouragement?) with Etheridge about his kicking (?).
Morrison, just got on with it - very well.
Shouldn't the captain's arm-band be with the de facto skipper, Bamba, now?

I think you'll find Marrison is not just team captain but also club captain. It is what he does off the plating field as much as on it that is important.
Ridiculous
Never previously a fan of his, but I feel that Morrison is a much improved player this season. Maybe having Bamba and Manga either side has helped, but he is showing himself to be a much better footballer than in the past.
As said above, there are plenty of natural leaders in this team and maybe the issue about Morrison as captain historically came about because many doubted he deserved a place in the team in the first place. That is not the case now.
If it's not broke don't try to fix it.
Bamba's full of passion, but Morrison is a leader with a cool head.
As an opposing fan said last week (one who actually acknowledged that we aren't actually a bad side) our side is full of leaders.
Morrison, Bamba, Gunner, Peltier are the obvious ones but for me the likes of Bryson,Bennett, Hoillet, Ralls are also strong characters who step up when we are up against it.
I feel Patterson will be one too.
One things for sure, there's no weak characters out there.
Well maybe if he has some kind of medical blood flow problem, but are you allowed to wear it on the right arm?
Bamba gets a little over excited at times, but Morrison is calm and collected, all the players look up to him, a true leader.
You're 2nd in league, on a 4 game winning streak, with the fewest goals conceded in the division. What do you do?
Undermine your captain. Obviously.
It's the smart move.
I remember Warnocks QPR beat us at their place many moons ago when we were both challenging for the championship summit.
We had a slightly better footballing team than them, but they had no nonsense uncompromising characters that we lacked, Sean Derry is one name that springs to mind .
They won and went on to promotion.
