Phil "The Power" Taylor rolls back the years by whitewashing Keegan Brown.
That was his 133rd World Championship match. He's won 121, lost 12.
Bookies finding it difficult to pick a winner from Taylor-Anderson: https://www.oddschecker.com/darts/pd...nderson/winner
Anderson would have been fave with all of them prior to tonight's respective performances. The Scot was well out of sorts while Taylor at times was the beast of old.
Odds for todays games. Taylor slight favourite to beat Anderson! I watched Anderson last night and he looked in pain. Should be a good match.
Jamie Lewis (19/20) v Darren Webster (13/1
Dimitri van den Bergh (10/3) v Rob Cross (5/18)
Phil Taylor (10/11) v Gary Anderson (21/20)
Michael van Gerwen (1/6) v Raymond van Barneveld (5/1)
Dilemna; support Lewis as he's Welsh or Webster for coming out to a Springsteen track?
Decisions, decisions.
Time for a Welshman to do the business 180 start ... come on Jamie
Lewis 2 - 0 up. Bossing the match so far.
4 - 0 with one to go. Cruising at the moment.
Just awesome darts.
And just as I say that...
That wasn't just cruising that was top quality. 5-0, 15-5 in legs, 14 180's, ton plus average. That quality (for the 5th match in a row) would push anyone.
Nearly 102 average and his setup play is as good as anyone's in this tournament.
If he can replicate that against Anderson or Taylor, he's got every chance of getting to the final. It's a big 'if', though. He's never performed like this on stage in his life before this tournament. Would love to see him in the final.
Jamie Lewis yea yea yea!!!!
That Jamie Lewis match was brilliant (yet again).
This puts it into perspective:
How shock World Championship semi-finalist Jamie Lewis felt his chance had gone
Great apart from the crowd. Cringeworthy.
I think the crowds have been brilliant.
The support for Dimitri Van den Bergh was brilliant - considering he was playing an Englishman in an English venue.
What do you actually want from the fans?
That 121 checkout from Barney. He's the best I've ever seen at that. I'm sure he did it 3 or 4 times in one match a couple of years ago.
Gary can’t get going at all. Taylor slowed it right down. Fvcking ****.
Gary had a couple of chances that last leg but couldn’t punish poor scores from Taylor
