Loads of people off work with it, I think I'm starting to feel the effects. I don't know if it is an age thing, but in my 20s I'd do all sorts whilst suffering with a cold. I had the 'flu for the first time when I was about 31 - didn't get out of bed for 3 days - and since then, whenever I have a cold (not 'flu) it hits me for six.

Does it come with a debilitating racking cough
Had the flu just after Christmas then the Mrs and kids had it now I got some sort of cold since January

The cough can last for ages, weeks for kids, some I know been off school for 2 weeks. It lingers around. Not had it too bad myself, not sure why, could be abstinence saving me.
I recently found a dead swan and, remembering the previous deadly H5N1 bird flu scare, I immediately contacted the authorities. How foolish I felt when I remembered I was the Queen and the dead swan was my tea.
Hardly ever take time off work. Did Monday and Tuesday.. cut my shift short Monday and didn't work at all Tuesday
