Great news, though
First comment I see...
Unsure about this.. bloke is a legend and has been a revelation for this football club but PL manager he is not. Would rather him retire/leave as a hero than get sacked by mid October
I agree we all have opinions...
I think it's good news.
Probably more than a few on here would disagree mind.
Cardiff City boss Neil Warnock is to stay at the club beyond the end of this season and sign a new contract.
Warnock is set to continue at the Cardiff City Stadium irrespective of whether the Bluebirds are promoted.
His current deal expires this summer following his arrival in October 2016. Warnock has led Cardiff to second in the current Championship table.
Chairman Mehmet Dalman held talks with Warnock, 69, after flying to Wales to watch the Bluebirds beat Bristol City.
What about the Pullis revolution , has that past now
Yeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeees
Got to be good news whichever way you look at it.
Where Justshit's comment on this
Overjoyed for him but if I was Neil (money aside) I don’t get what’s the benefit for him.
If we did get promoted he’s got hell of a slog on his hands in the Prem and of not, a slog again in the champ entertaining fans with a sense of anticlimax.
I was hoping he was going to be moved upstairs so that we could bring in Lee Johnson if we get promoted.
Mind you BCFC may want hefty compensation to release Lee from his contract.
I think Neil's Ying and Lee's Yang will complement each other and benefit our chances of reaching the Europa league by the end of next season.
Pleased with this. Great news!
Win win really and well timed.
Tan has rewarded Neil for his better than expected season and also taken some pressure off him for promotion and although it would be a big disappointment if we fail, Tan realises we have to be in with a big shout next season with nobody out there better suited to give it another go.
If he does get us up this season Warnock gets his go in the prem, and he will have deserved his chance.
Great news
