Under 800 tickets now available in main bowl. Upper Ninian now made available with most seats in lower section already sold. Could be heading for 30000+. Allowing for buffer around Wolves fans probably around 27000 now sold.
Tonight’s result will have an impact also. Reckon it will be 30k whatever
There's another 5 blocks in the upper Ninian gone on sale today. Blocks nearest away fans not on sale though. Last to go on sale, if needed.
Win tonight and we may hit 30,000 on Friday
This was my point the other week. The club complain about lower attendances yet they really do limit how you can buy them.
For example, the casual fan in Cardiff for the day would have no chance unless they fancy braving the ticket office on a match day.
There are zero ticket outlets in the entire City Centre ffs!!
Put one at Central Station / St David's Hall / Queen Street / Cardiff Bay and this would be sorted.
Are fans still struggling to get through ?
I'm down the ticket office right now to renew a load of STs and the queue is about an hour long (or 50 metres for any pedants reading). Most people seem to be coming out with paper tickets which, I'd imagine, will be for the Wolves game.
Over 25,000 now sold.
They used to sell tickets in ponty bus station
Yeah I've thought this for ages too, a small concessions stand in the middle of st David's shopping centre would be a great start.
I've seen in other cities, upcoming fixtures advertised on buses etc
Or there are big screens in town these days like the one on the Hayes, let's get upcoming games on there and a place you can buy tickets nearby.
I reckon plenty of people who have moved here to work or study might start to come along if we were a bit more prominent.
