Yes, in a way. Inner City Unit were formed by the legenadary Nik Turner, after his departure from Hawkwind, The band appealed to the anarcho punks/crusty crowd as well as Hawkwind fans. First caught them live at the Stonehenge Free Festival in 1980 where a fight broke out between the local United Bikers and the assembled punks. Madness!
I went to see the new Tina Turner musical last night and they had a great pop at Elvis and pointed out how shite he really was.
