What bothers me is that the game that derby chickened out of might turn out to be the most important game we never played!!!

I can't think of another instance of a game we're not involved in seemingly having such huge significance for us. I suppose there must be others but none spring to mind. Of course if we win three of our last four, then tonight's result would be irrelevant but that does seem a bit of a daunting task. Dropped points by Fulham and our target seems so much more achievable.

Classic thread title this, one for the history books
Fulham Sunderland might be the next "most important game we never played" and then Birmingham Fulham....
The outcome of our season does not depend on this game. Our league position is in our our own hands.

The pressure did seem to be on Norwich quite a lot a few years ago. But they kept winning and we eventually royally messed it all up ourselves anyway so that’s forgotten about.
This is so amazing

I'm so bloody excited about watching two teams I do not care about play football.
Is the outcome of this game more or less important than Fulham's next game or in fact any other game they played this season? How about the 6-0 leathering they gave Burton Albion? If that had been 0-0 would we even be having this conversation?
