I Know i am a massive star wars fan, but solo is a very interesting film, some great nods to the past ( well future ) a few interesting story twists ( leading to the future )
Well worth a watch
Is chew bacca female ?
Seen it a few times now and it is way better than that heap of shite, The Last Jedi. They have done a good job with this and it answers loads of little incidental things from the original trilogy. Card games, Kessel Run, blaster, etc.
"flopped" at the US box office opening weekend.
They were predicting takings of $130M.
But it took 'only' $103M.
Still enough to be No 1.
Anything with Emilia Clarke in is worth a watch.
Do people still go to the cinema?
doesnt say, though i might have missed a slight reference to it, though one character does appear to be a female for the sake of Diversity is a surprise
indeed
i know, i read that, 103 Mill bucks on opening weekend
I couldnt think of where i had seen her, a quick IMDB search and she was in " Spike Island " and then of course GoT ( which i only watched the first series, so i guess it was that )
I did, its a bit of " night out " to see bigger films, Meerkat movies meant i spent £25 on tickets and about £15 on popcorn and drinks, 40 quid for a night out for the 4 of us, sometimes big films ( read star wars ) need the big screen experience
I have often looked at Projectors, i had a cheap one i sent to the project i am involved in the Zimbabwe for them to watch movies on ( it was only cheap but they love it )
still nice to have a night out, though we are making a habit of it, mine and the mrs wedding anniversary tonight, so just been out for a Nepalese meal
I thought it was OK nothing special, got really bored in the middle, just nothing interesting happened
maxime in Blackwood is great value. £2.50 entry, a hot dog a similar price, drinks as well makes it less than a tenner a head.I did, its a bit of " night out " to see bigger films, Meerkat movies meant i spent £25 on tickets and about £15 on popcorn and drinks, 40 quid for a night out for the 4 of us, sometimes big films ( read star wars ) need the big screen experience
premier in cardiff not too dissimilar
I thought person in The hologram with the red head and horns was from a different film
The one where he had a double ended light sabre
What’s he doing as chief of the crimson tide
Thought I was going mad, with you all giving it positive reviews, so I found this, he basically articulates all my issues much better than I could.
