A few questions to ponder over on a summer's evening.
1. On February 17th 1934, City lost 3-2 to Crystal Palace in a Division 3 South game at Selhurst Park. What was uniquely
unusual about this match ?
2. Which former City player saved a crucial penalty against Liverpool in a league game at Anfield ?
3. Who was the first player to be sent off twice playing against the City ? Three other players have repeated the feat since
- a bonus point if you can name them also.
4. What is the next fixture in this sequence of City league fixtures:
Stockport A; Hull A; Norwich A; Bury H; Charlton H; Sheff Utd H; Swansea A; Tranmere H; Preston H;.......... ?
5. Name the 11 players who have played for City since 2003 and who have won a full England cap at some time in their
careers.
6. Phil Bater was the first of three players (up to now) who have been sent off on their first start for City. Who were the
other two and why was Bater's particularly unique ?

Heaton, Bothroyd, Fowler, Sinclair, Lambert all correct. Not Routledge though.
3. players sent off I'm guessing here Robin Friday, Phil Dwyer, Jason Perry.
Caulker & Drinkwater correct - that leaves another four. Lappin and O'Halloran correct for sending offs but Bater's uniqueness was more football related.
Campbell and Zaha both correct - two more of those to get.
Is one of the sent-off players John Williams?
Stockport Away in question four had me thinking of our first ever Football League games in sequence, but the balance of the fixtures is all wrong with three away matches being followed by three home ones - think it might be something to do with first games of the season though.
Q1. Were all 5 goals in the match scored by City?
