Felleni's made the difference feel for Japan
2-2, could go either way though
Great game. This World Cup has far exceeded my expectations
It's taken going two goals down to wake the Belgians up.
Anyone put any money on them winning when they were 2 nil down?
Why do teams take short corners? They never work.
Fellaini is a hellva impact player
Lukaku has to score there
Belgium 3-2
15 seconds from the end of added time
Heartbreaking for Japan.
Gutted for Japan but what a counter attack
What a goal that was.
I remember us scoring a similar one against Sheff Utd and Barnsley under Jones.
Japan might get slated for sticking so many up for the corner and not just taking extra time but it was admirable in my opinion, they had a proper go at Belgium even and 2-2
Japan should have just held the ball. A short corner was the option that time.
Devastating
Such a brave effort, deserved extra time Japan.
Left their mark on this tournament alright.
The big fellas won it for Belgium in the end so credit to Martinez.
Gutted for Japan but I'm chuffed that we've now got Belgium vs Brazil
I'm not a fan of Fellaini but i hope he elbows Neymar so hard that his head comes off
Warnock sign up a few of those Japanese players , they work like dogs, never die attitude , and have skill.
Bloody impressive.
Half-time debate about whether Carrasco should have gone down in the penalty box or whether his honest to be admired. It's the ref and VAR who should be discussed here as attacker clearly impeded from goal-creating opportunity and ref turned a blind eye to it, with VAR not correcting the decision.
Rio said he should have gone to ground and colleagues would be questioning him but surely the ref needs to see the foul not the reaction. If they don't it can lead to play-acting.
