In a similar vein to Sane’s injury, Jazz played on during the match. However he was not seen again for months after the Man City game due to that tackle. Not sure you have to go off straight away to have been injured by a tackle - Bennett got the blame for Sane so I think I’m being fair blaming KdB for Jazz’s worse injury.

Richards' injury was not from De Bruyne's tackle. It is a bit pathetic to see people trying to justify Bennett's cynical foul on Sane by saying "De Bruyne got Richards".

My thinking is if Gunnar is injured after a couple of games and is out for 3 months, I’m not sure I’d be comfortable with a midfield three of Ralls, Damour and Paterson/Bamba. And god help if one of those picked up a knock as well.

Warnock simply has to bring in a midfielder tomorrow at the very least.
