Although we don't need a left back would love Baines here think his set piece ability would be a real asset. Not sure if he will stay with Everton as Digne looks superb.
I think Gunnar will end up going to somewhere in Germany.

If we stay up ? Phil Jones
You could make a very decent team from that lot.
A very expensive team too, unless they're happy to cut their wages.
Phil Bardsley is a good example of the type of player we could be looking for: not wanted by Stoke, went to Burnley and contributed to them qualifying for European football for not extreme wages while Stoke missed him massively and went down without too much fight.
Some great players there but some we should look at if we stay up or go down.
Loads on there that wouldn’t fit in with our wage structure, or ever consider coming to us.
For me Diaz, Markovic Okazaki and Johansen all ones we should look at with actual potential of signing and a Jan bid for Markovic
I always find there’s quite a few good signings in the championship too - anyone got that list?
Not many in that list are realistic targets for us.
I hope we hold on to Manga. The rest will go , maybe Kadeem will stay but he rarely featured last season but has made an impact this year. We struggled to hold on to him last time he was out of contract but he's hardly set the world alight.
I agree about Bardsley being a good signing at right back but I'm not sure how old he is now.
I had to look this up because I was certain that Matt Lowton was Burnley's first choice right back last season...
Bardsley actually started 13 PL games and Burnley, (which surprised me) but they only won 3 of them. Lowton started 25 and they won 11 of them. Not sure how much contribution Bardsley actually made to their success if you look at those stats.
I think it's also fair to say that if he had still been at Stoke last season they would have still gone down without a fight as their entire team (and their manager) was crap.
I think you've massively overrated how important Bardsley is/was to both of those clubs tbh.
