My eyes are hurting!
Bloody awful
It was awful I thought that I was watching a game from 1995
Our summer budget was on the bench.
There was some proper shit in the early years. People have short memories
Parks football. Virtually nothing of class from both sides. First time I've seen a ref change his mind on a penalty like that....luckily. Next up Newcastle away. Pick n shovel.
We need some quality across all three areas, defence, midfield and attack.
And not championship players stepping up a level.
Yes.
What the feck as Durban got to do with anything.
Im pretty sure as bad as we were today wed have hammered Durbans garbage. There again Durban didnt have 30m on the bench.
It seems a badge of honour to some to bring up the sh!t of the past as if we cant criticise performances like today.
These words were used by those around me & I can't argue with them:
Frightened
Negative
Slow
Piss poor passing
Was pleased we were on last on MOTD and in fact the highlights didn't portray the true story of how bad the game was.
Huddersfield fans might be a little aggrieved mind. Even though Etheridge had very little to do wrt saves, they outplayed us all over the pitch.
We look very tired and need some fresh personnel, even if that means bringing in people similar to those we already have.
Apologies for the semantics but rather than tired we look stale. My wife could manage a team to stop us scoring, we are so predictable and have no variation. We've now scored only 1 goal in open play in 6 games. I wouldn't be bothering looking to sign any defenders, it's creative and attacking players we need.
Agreed. And at what point does stale and predictable become resigned to failure? Basic variation in tactics would help. Players didn't seem to have any confidence yesterday, were not well organised at the back and made too many mistakes. We have a difficult run in at the end of the season and a squad that would struggle in the Championship bearing in mind our reliance on loan signings in midfield.Given our limitations, it's time to start thinking about next season's away matches....Luton, Portsmouth, Bristol, Swansea, WBA, Villa,Birmingham....Leeds(?....about time they fell apart).
