    Hughton's Team Talk

Get out there and win it by any means, Cardiff don't get decisions, so again 'by any means'

5 decent penalty shouts in consecutive games and did't get one of them. Coincidence ?

They either weren't penalties or it was bad luck. What we really should be talking about is the two draws against Huddersfield and the home loss against Burnley and displays like the Watford home game.

Yes, agree. But at very least two of them were 'certs', and its only Cardiff, but if it was against one of the big boys this would go on and on.......

Why should we? In the early games in the season, we were finding our feet.

In recent games, there 'have' been very bad decisions against us, which would have very likely put us a lot closer to Brighton's points than at present.

Yes, we make mistakes. Yes, we are not world beaters.

However, it wouldn't have taken much for us to be a lot closer or even ahead of Brighton at this stage.

I'm not sure any of them were nailed on. If it was Liverpool, United, City etc then it would go on because they are why Sky Sports exist, It's entertainment to most people and most people don't care about us.

Reid must have a look in at Brighton surely.

Or the ability to score consistently over the very same 90 minutes of these games , the penalties or wrong referee decisions, are in the low percentages of game time ,its a 90 plus minute game over a full season .

Sky pundits this am said ossicials had cost us at east 4 points in recent games, so it's not just fan bias.

Yeah, let’s talk about the Watford game when we had a blatant penalty turned down which would have sent us in at 1-1
    😂

In fairness they were the best side outside of the top 6 we’ve played home and away this season ( and as good as most of those).. probably not one of our players would get in their starting line up as it stands. So I don’t think that’s a great example of where we’ve dropped points.
Poor defending v Burnley home and just poor everything v Huddersfield fair enough.

I’m sure this was debated at the time mind.

The 2 Newcastle games are also ones we needed but failed to get points from

I’ve even seen Burnley fans admitting we should have had at least 1 pen yesterday

Isn't that the point of this thread?
