Is it just me or is this selection of Welsh "legends" a bit embarrassing?

2 singers who had chart success more than half a century ago, an excellent football player who barely kicks a ball these days, an above average rugby player who has been retired for 10 years and comfortably the worst character from an average sitcom.

Mind you, I'm not sure who else we could have maybe we are just that small-time

Tom Jones and Shirley Bassey probably fair along with Bale. Very recognised around the world and being welsh.
Having Nessa is a sad embarrassment however. I cannot stand that show with a passion and her character is one of the worst things ever to grace a tv.
