Do you know every fvcker in the tech industry ? Apple and Google are not involved with setting up the systems on it - it will be available via Apple and Google app stores only, so perhaps you don't know much about it after all and have made up your mind based on flawed information. No matter what the people or Government do, there is always some so called ‘expert’ lined up ready to debunk it. Take the alternative SAGE group of ‘experts’ - their not biased are they - all socialist/ Labour supporters !!
You've totally misunderstood his post, you tool.
I'm surprised you keep coming back to give an opinion considering you scuttle away every time you're asked to back up what you say with the (non-existent) source you claim to have seen.
Maybe calm down, read the post properly, consider whether you've understood it and then respond without sounding like a complete Warnock and Tory-defending cockstain all of the time.
Sincerely,
Heisenberg x
I am probably going to steer clear of the app. Open to abuse from edgy teenagers, privacy concerns from a lot of those pesky experts and potentially considered illegal. Also I don't really go anywhere anyway.
Lets be fair though, you do have previous form in relation to saying you definitely wont be doing something, on the basis that you think that everyone else wont do it either, then realising you have made a big mistake because everyone else has actually done it and you end up doing it yourself i.e going to watch City. 😀
The Government are trying to introduce a track and trace via app system that is being used successfully in countries like South Korea as a way of controlling the virus spread and bring the country out of lockdown. All they are receiving is unwarranted criticism and suspicion. There are better things to worry about. Everyone should get behind it. If it doesn't get enough take up then it is likely that in another three months we will still be in full lockdown. Nothing to do with politics, although most of what you post on the subject makes you sound like a left wing soundbox to be honest. I also get the impression from quite a few people on this board that if Labour were in power, everybody would welcome the same app proposal with open arms. People have got nothing better to do than criticise without having any idea about how they would deal with the situation.
You didn't misunderstand it, yet you said "Apple and Google are not involved with setting up the systems on it - it will be available via Apple and Google app stores only".
He was talking about the other app https://www.theverge.com/2020/5/4/21...e-notification not the NHS one - you clown.
Like I said, you always jump in with two feet, thinking you know what you're talking about and defending your sycophantic wet dreams, but you're always wrong. Literally... always.
I guess we will see you in a week or so when you do the same again.
Let's focus on the answer to the question, not the irrelevant waffle that followed.
There is already a track and trace app that the government has ignored, that is supposedly more secure and is more useful on a wider scale. Why should a government app, that has attracted much criticism from professionals in the tech industry (that you, with no qualifications, have dismissed due to political loyalty instead of factual knowledge), be better?
Firstly how do you know what qualifications I have to comment and what gives you the right to decide who comments or not ? Who are you to decide that the Governments preferred system is inferior anyway. What factual knowledge are you basing your opinion on. All your posts are politically biased against the Government, so right back at you with all that crap. I was giving my opinions and you and a few others don't like it.
Exactly, this is the question that's making me wonder. "Britain does it it's own way" hasn't really gone too well since the beginning of this with the herd immunity debacle. I wonder if dml1954 would admit that that idea was one of the all time worst or do we all blindly follow the government retrospectively as well
