The grumbles and barriers being put up by the relegation threatened teams are so transparent and as Parish says, short sighted. They are so concerned about losing the premier league money that if they’re not careful they will lose it all anyway if they can’t finish the season and can’t start next season until things are “back to normal”.

Football is an industry that can not afford to simply shut down for a year. Just because it’s a sport it’s still a business and an industry has huge impact on the surrounding communities.
And full of lawyers waiting to make a buck especially the potential relegated clubs, and championships promoting candidates ,that's where the big wins and losses are.
