    Championship playoffs

Are they going ahead as two legged semi finals?
I assume they are being planned.

I like the National League play-off set up. More teams involved and you actually get an advantage the further up the table you finish.

League one and two playoffs apparently are going ahead on the 18th June after season ended on points per game

Yes. Full set of play offs. League 2, League 1 and Championship.

Two legged semi finals (home and away) and a Wembley final.

was in Coventry city centre earlier didn't have a scooby doo what was happening cars , vans roaming around the ring road with scarves and flags hanging out , the centre was full of bevvied up people staggering around with fireworks going off

I suppose a bizarre way to get promoted without a proper celebration at the end of a game and celebrate with the fans

    .

If you were a Cheltenham Town player and you were given the choice of Wembley or, say, a neutral Vale Park or Home Park, which would you go for?

Perhaps the Football League already had a contract with Wembley Stadium and would have to pay a percentage of the fees even if the play-off games didn’t take place there? I’m only guessing, but maybe it makes financial sense for the EFL?

There's obviously far bigger concerns but from a sporting point of view you've got to feel sympathy for a lower league (especially) club who reach Wembley and no fans are allowed. What a day missed out on for the players and fans.

The FA will most probably want to see how ‘behind closed doors’ games work out at Wembley logistically. Who knows? England may play an international behind closed doors in the future, the play offs would enable them to gauge the staff, catering for the few who are in attendance etc, even the amount of ball boys required.
