Pablo Hernandez is injured as is Augustin (though I doubt he'd have played anyway)
We'll be lucky to get a throw in
Does anybody know how / when the Leeds team will travel down to Cardiff?
Arsenal got on a plane in London at 5pm for an 8pm kick-off at the Etihad on Wednesday, which I thought that was madness. But Leeds need to get down here for a midday kick-off on a Sunday... that can’t be doing them any favours...
Interestingly Leeds havent had any preseason friendly. Whether ours did any good we will soon find out. Will be a strange game, at least to start.
As mentioned above Hernandez def out which is good news. Just about as important to Leeds as Tomlin has become to us.
We're 9/2 to beat Leeds on Betfair Exchange, and I reckon (in my ignorance / optimism) that's a pretty good price, given the uncertainty. Fingers crossed :)
I have a feeling Tomlin will be on bench due to fitness. Bacuna to play in his place.
Wingers are a problem too. Adomah deserves a start based on his earlier performances, but NML is at his best when the sun is on his back so i think Murphy will be the one to miss out
Opta stats
- This is the first league meeting between Cardiff and Leeds at the Cardiff City Stadium since September 2017, a 3-1 win for the Bluebirds under Neil Warnock.
- Leeds have taken just one point from their last four league games against Cardiff (D1 L3), drawing 3-3 having been 3-0 up in the reverse fixture this season.
- This will be the first time Cardiff have hosted Leeds for a match on a Sunday since winning 2-1 in an FA Cup tie at Ninian Park in January 2002 when Leeds were top of the Premier League.
- Leeds have won each of their last five league games without conceding a single goal. The Whites have achieved this feat on four other previous occasions, most recently in December 2009 - they have never won six straight league games without conceding.
- Cardiff have picked up six draws in their last eight league games on home soil (W1 D1) - no side has drawn more home games in the Championship this season (8).
- Leeds have won more points from their last six games (16) than any other Championship team.
3 away wins in the Championship so far.
Not looking good for us tomorrow
