In England, you cannot go to a mate's house. But, you can meet all of your mates in the pub. But Bowling Alleys (where I genuinely think Social distancing would be amazingly easy to do) frequented by younger people (the ones going back to school in September who, we are told, are at low risk of spreading the virus) - you can't meet up there.
How much tax revenue is generated by pubs, I wonder cynically.
