Perhaps Morrison has glimpsed something promising,. in a development game befroe he came to City , are Blackburn a category A Academy side ??

yes they are, and a pretty good one in this ranking from 2017/18

worth noting as well that even though Swansea were cat 1 they actually came out worse than us on that list

apparently only England qualified players are counted on that list so that goes some way to explain why Swansea are so low

He wouldn’t have an he probably would have been playing league 1 football.

Making it in football is a lot to do with ability but a very large proportion of luck, timing and managers tactics

When Ajayi left he had Morrison, Manga and Bamba ahead of him. Morrison was only 26 too and Ajayi was 23. Good luck to him but it was in everyone's best interests he went. He had 2 full seasons for Rotherham and he was never going to play here.

There was a really good podcast a few years ago, swear it was BBC but for the life of me can't find it. They basically set forth and argued (amongst experts) the cost V's social responsibility to the community of an academy. There was sentiment for the community but the be all and end all was the 'Micheal Lewis Moneyball' and it was scrupulous in how much a waste of money an academy was!

I think all football should be about community, and to not come across as a massive racist but cardiff should look to emulate the Lisbon Lions lol
