Well done City. Clean sheet. Excellent 3 points. Especially after last week. Very poor performance by Forest today though.

Awful second half but a brilliant result

Can't argue with that, great way to bounce back after Wednesday
Kiefer off the mark, result superb, performance decent.
Good time for a run of wins.
Well done City
excellent result, very disappointed the way we couldn't keep the ball the 2nd half though.
think Forest may struggle this season.
Lost composure second half but also Forest were pushing forward. Need to be able to control the ball better though.
Overall excellent away win, gets us off and running
Game was won 1st half. Job done.
Last week we were complaining that Wednesday did a Cardiff on us. This week we did a Cardiff. Deserved the lead in the first half and, whilst we sat on it a bit too much, Forest did a lot of huffing and puffing but created next to no clear cut chances.
I pointed out before the game that this ref had us 3 times last season. Each time we won without conceding a goal. Make it FOUR!
James Linington is a bluebird.😀
A couple of things concerned me despite a fantastic away win.
1. Tomlin not in the starting eleven for the second successive game. If the manager thinks he has issue playing 90 minutes then I am worried for us in the longer term.
2. We need to blood youth or players who struggle to get game time so why has Harris decided to stick with Bamba on the bench. ?
I think his playing time is really over and I would like to see someone getting a chance on the bench
Apart from Tomlin not being match fit enough for a whole game after injury, Bamba was the correct choice in the circumstances today.
Personally I'd have Bamba on the bench every game for his experience and general influence.
Yes it would be good to blood a youngster or two but only if they are good enough.
Clearly at the moment there aren't any.
Edit:
I have previously said we need cover for Tomlin long term so agree there.
Bluebirds ! Bluebirds !
Excellent first half. Worked hard and rode luck a bit 2nd but a deserved win.
Well done bluebirds - you made Johnny Owen cry again. 😂
Great win but it didn't paper over the cracks and in fairness Forest looked poor. Only Moore, Ralls and Smithies impressed me. Very disappointed in Ojo.
I like the way Moore attacks the ball and his awareness of the flick on by Morrison.
