I live in a wealthy area
A bloke from the bridgend outreach team came to sort out our broadband the other day . He was about late twenties and came from a rough area of bridgend , wildmill. He used to play football football for the school team against the school team i played for which was a working class area of bridgend but our school was not full of hard knocks .
Lot of poverty , drugs , ill health in wildmill , free school meals , breakfast clubs
But a lot of good people who certainly would accept help , as he did as a youngster and certainly do give a shit about other people .
He was a city fan , he couldnt make it week in week out as he and his girlfriend who he was in school with were saving up to buy a house . He was at our place for two hours sorting out the fault . Had a great chat , had about four cups of tea , said talk talk will probably try and say you need a new router but there is no need , its taken me two hours to find this fault but its sorted now .
I said you have spent two hours here , you are a city fan , you have sorted out our Internet without another couple of days hanging around heres a little bit of cash , I gave him 50 quid , to go towards your new house or take your girlfriend out for a meal , stop her nagging you

I reckon if people who needed a hand up , help with their bills , were struggling for money, paying heating bills , saving to buy a house couldn't give a shit for anyone else were offered 50 quid as a thank you he would have grabbed the money and run ?

So clearly this young working class lad had plenty of help from social services and had a poor upbringing and far from grabbing cash off me he was a decent person who in his spare time helped others as a volunteer lifeguard . There are still some people , thank god , who give a shit about others .

Capitalist society which pays a already immensely rich man 25 million pounds a year in wages whilst people living in the valleys upon whose work and toil cardiff was built sees people dying in the winter because they freeze because of a lack of money is the problem

If I earn a high wage and live in a wealthy area I should not spend my money on as good car or have a nice holiday even though I have worked hard to be able to do so. Instead I have to give my money to people who don't have any. So why don't I just not bother working my arse of to get richer and wait for someone else to support me.

The problem is it doesn't work. never has and never will. Redistribution of wealth doesn't make people richer it just makes some people poorer.
you can look at socialist states all over the world and see that it doesn't work, see the umber of poor people in them, poor beyond anything that the poor in this country could ever imagine. Russia, Azerbaijan Venezuela N Korea china some of the other non-reconstituted ex soviet satellite states. Poor poor people ruled by excessively rich so called guardians of socialism.
There is more corruption in some of these places than you could ever imagine. you have to live there to understand it. A person has to pay someone for every single thing he/she wants and should be able to get from the state, or he/she can't get it. There is a problem with your papers but £20 can make it go away, your son must join the army but £1000 can make him unfit for military service and so on in every single thing you need. That is the nature of a "socialist" state, everyone clambering to get more money than everyone else to lift themselves out of the misery and depravation of their lives. In the 70s and 80s when Russia was buying wheat from the USA they ahd more than enough to feed the nation but it rotted in railway wagons because the farmers couldn't afford to bribe the railway officials to get it attached to a train. socialism, you can stuff it up your arse mate!

I agree some of the things done such a NHS pansions are good but they are only paid for by taxes and if you redistribute the wealth there will be no tax income. Its a myth.
