Welsh 3 piece The Joy Formidable. Criminally under the radar for years. Excellent vocalist and a force when live
ZZ Top...in the early days
Sludgey, how can you possibly forget the greatest and most influential band to have come out of Wales?

Budgie
Rush
Motörhead
The Riotous Brothers.
Cardiff trio from, I think, early ‘80’s. Used to watch them at Grassroots. They also had a couple of tracks played on John Peel.
Oh, and Young Marble Giants.
One of mine too. I always kinda hoped Paul Rodgers would make an album with Robin Trower, especially as rodgers has consistently surrounded himself with the best guitarists there are (Koss, Mick Ralphs, Jimmy Page for three). Ah well, it ain't gonna happen....
muse
supergrass
green day
James Gang ( James gang Rides Again is one of the best albums I've ever heard ,Joe Walsh at his very best )
Early Grand Funk Railroad
ZZ Top
top of the pile Rush
Emerson, Lake and Palmer
Groundhogs
This was recorded in 1970 and predates Grunge by 20 years. What a band.

Muse should be in there somewhere
Wales' finest, the Manic Street Preachers
You have to hand it to Rush for being the most accomplished 3 piece from a technical standpoint.
If I had to pick a favorite I'd probably go with Jimi Hendrix Eperience.
If I had to pick a live performance I'd probably go with Motorhead.
