Carney: How the New York Times Misread Trump’s Tax Bills
https://www.breitbart.com/economy/20...mps-tax-bills/
Depends what you mean by 'critical appraisal'. Plenty of posters on the other side of the fence from you and your mates have been critical of the Clintons, Biden etc - whilst laughing off the extreme 'pizza cellar' bollux you peddle. They are all part of a ruling class that has promoted global exploitation and war. They often nod to social and environmental progressive causes (in Biden's case he is a late adopter) but none of that will mean anything to the victims of their cynical geo-political deals - in Yemen, Palestine, China or a good part of the USA!
However, in my opinion, despite the Democrats putting up underwhelming candidates who represent most of what I hate most in the world, they are still a better option than the neo-Nazi scumbags you favour. The people you promote (when you do your propaganda posts on behalf of CTH, Breitbart, Fox & Friends, the Grand Wizard and the rest) share all the worst traits of Clinton and Biden, but are also gun toting racists, misogynists, climate change deniers, Old Testament groupies and all too often fascists. And those are their good qualities!
Given that lousy choice, for me it is the Democrats over the Republicans and Biden over Trump - every time!
So Trump was given $400m by his dad*.
And now he is looking at $400m loans being called in that he can't afford.
But apparently he's a great business man?
* Not adjusted for inflation in today's money
Neo Nazis dear me .
Yes Trump is a nasty piece of works but comparing him and thay with the atrocities delivered by the Nazis is incredible ,and is an injustice in their memory , typical far left wing lash out .
Trump is nuts, but not as evil as many of the far left socialist and Marxists regimes that have destroyed and slaughtered many more lives than the fruit loop Trump , he is not a mass Nazi killer , they come close 🙄
I suspect Nobel Peace winner Obama has much blood on his hands in the killing fields of the Middle East and Afghanistan, don't hear much criticism of his tactics, or Clinton's very close associations with Epstein ,Giselle .
I have my moments ,.
Cyril , you're going to find that many of the truths we cling to depend greatly on our own point of view..
The truth is often what we make of it, you hear what you want to hear, believe what you want to believe.
May the force be with you.
Let me try to help you with this.
Neo-nazis are not the Nazis they are new groups who share the same ideology. They are real and they are now.
Three years ago there was a Unite the Right march in Charlottesville. This was defined by a torchlit parade (reminiscent of the original Nazis) chanting "Jews will not replace us".
Understandably, particularly if you recognise anti-semitism in all its guises, there was a counter demonstration. During it a counter-demonstrator was run over and killed by someone affiliated to the Unite the Right movement.
Donald Trumpo's response to this was there are some "very fine people" protesting and counter protesting (ie the protesters and the neo-nazis with their naked anti-semitism were broadly equivalent in his eyes.)
As someone who has called out Corbyn and the gang at every opportunity in extremely moralistic terms about reports of anti-semitism in the Labour party you must feel really grubby sticking up for Trump on the basis that he has not pursued neo-nazis, rather tried to cultivate their support.
This is what happens, Nazi is Nazi, and everyone knows what it stands for , your slipping into Ken Livingstons world and his inappropriate use of terminologies.
Corbyn and his like, deserved everything that got a Boris goverment.
I deplore Trump and the use of the word Nazi , and when others use it, its not a word go be thrown around frivolously , still waiting for Corbyn’s apology to Labours voters .
It all has a smell , Nazi supporters , Antisemitism .
Why do you deplore the use of the word Nazis or Neo-Nazis or if someone tries to seek equivalence between then than now? Do you think if no-one uses it the generations that have no first or second hand experience of what fascism and ultra-nationalism have done to the world will think it's just some kind of label and they should shut up?
I've just cancelled my vote for your Nobel Peace prize I'm going for Gemma Collins .
It's an appalling word as is the antisemitism that spouts from folks mouth so easily , some people still have a connection to those atrocious , casually using the terminologies is a bad as racism, gay insults or descriptions , words are words , some folk find there use upsetting .
I'll try to unpick your contra-argument.
I was about to be nominated for the Nobel Peace Prize but you cancelled your nomination to vote for a superficial media personality instead because I questioned whether your commitment to anti-semitism as I challenged your understanding of the difference between a nazi and a neo-nazi.
Are we done here or do you need a chat with your friend Jack?
You find the terminology 'neo nazi' upsetting?
I find David Duke and Richard Spencer - and all their neo-Nazi followers who openly support Trump - upsetting.
Even worse is Trump's willingness to 'casually' praise and encourage them.
Equally disturbing is the network of neo-Nazis, white supremacists and various hard-core religious fundamentalists that generate the ideology behind Trump - not one he could describe, but he is surrounded by its architects.
Trump is not a fascist - he many things but not that. But he has many of them in his tent, and many directing his Presidency and preaching to his base.
It is a shame you will not face up to that and choose instead to have a hissy fit about entirely accurate and appropriate terminology.
Anyone watch the debate? It was just ending as I switched on and the reaction was one of saying that the whole thing had been a waste of time as the candidates just exchanged insults as a weak supervisor looked on. From what I can gather, the pundits tended to feel it just about favoured Biden because he didn't have any disasters, whereas all Trump did was appeal to his base when he needed to be picking up some of the what seems to be small number of undecided voters - I can't say whether I agree or disagree with this because I didn't watch, but it seems to have been an unedifying spectacle.
Like yourself Bob I didn’t watch it but in fairness to Trump he set a new precedent for a sitting American president by addressing a neo facist and white supremacist group to “Stand Back and Stand By...”
He’s such a man of the people.
It been described an a “shitshow...” by one political commentator.
The people out to defend Trump over the comment are, well let's say they're struggling a bit.
Just an incredible, oblivious own of Trump here from Rick Santorum pic.twitter.com/V59xPa43Xr
