    In good spirits.

Seems like the verb to test may have been redefined as well .

I met er indoors 40 years ago, she was using frit then, although I'd not heard it in Cardiff before that, she still uses the word

Slightly of topic, she used to, and still uses the word Mardy (usually to call me a mardy 2hat), again a word i'd not heard, but we lived near Mardy road in Rumney, and when she moved down here and came across Mardy road she thought it was bloody hilarious!!

Interesting use of the word 'mardy'. It's normally followed by 'arse' not '2hat'. But language has to evolve.

Does she also use 'nesh' (as in feels the cold), 'wazzack' (as in idiot boy), 'spice' (as in sweets) or 'snap' (as in packed lunch)?

Matt Hancock is incredibly keen on saying "incredibly" - actually, quite a few at Parliament are, I saw an interview with a pair of MPs, one Conservative and one Labour, on Newsnight this week and they managed three incrediblys each in the short time they were on.
