Most even world championships I’ve seen in the PDC era. Anyone of the remaining players can will it.

He'd missed the bull for the match, then MVG not only takes it but also starts the last with a 180.
You could just see him go to pieces bless him.

Agreed.

While the crowd definitely adds to the occasion, I think the lack of crowds has been a leveller. I haven't missed the booing and I think that's allowed some players to get on with just playing the game.

I think it is great.

One of the things that says it is Christmas in recent years and one of the sporting tournaments that still holds a lot of its charm without crowds.

They need to review some sort of shot clock, Suljovic’s action were appalling 50 seconds to throw 3 darts, is not acceptable

I'd prefer Petersen to win this. Anderson comes over as a bit of a moaner lately.

Another fantastic game just finished, Steven Bunting beating unseeded Searle in the very last frame.
Game ebbed and flowed and Searle had the darts on the last frame but a 180 straight away from Bunting saw Searle crumble as Cullen did against MVG yesterday.

Pleased for Bunting (Peter Griffin) who was in tears and very magnanimous in victory, unlike MVG was.

Comfortable victory for Price. King never reached the heights of his performance against de Sousa in the previous round, but Price played well all the same.

I've warmed to him during the last year or so. He seems to have matured and calmed down a little. Be good if he can pinch the number one spot.

Gerwyn Price beats Mervyn King 4-1 and although King wasn't exactly on his game, Price is looking good.
