Calm down everyone, and you over there.
That should do it.
It didn't look like they were busting a gut to prevent it from happening.
Yes by playing ****ing dog shit
That's suggesting that players deliberately play badly, or deliberately lose matches, and I can't see any professional player doing that. At least, I hope not.
Something went wrong with the relationship between NH and the players around the time NML was sacked. Then we lose to Northampton and the manager openly criticised the players. From then on, with a few exceptions (and yes, rhere have been several injuries) the players have not played to the standard of which they are capable. Watching NH on the touchline, you could see something was amiss in terms of the relationship between players and their gaffer. Coventry away was dire. Have players played badly on purpose? I almost hope so as there have been so many basic, repeated, instances where simple changes could easily make the difference between winning and losing. Too many "errors" that just shouldn't happen. Let's see if MM can sort it out, sooner rather than later.
Sad thing is these days it has to be an arm around the shoulder job such is the power of the modern day player... and their agents!
Mick will certainly have to do this (with most players being on longer contracts than him!) and not with him taking the threat of being dropped approach.
I foresee an improvement in the players individually and collectively in the first few weeks with everyone vying for a place in the side.
Hopefully results will follow and they might even start playing for him.
If they don't, well I think we all know what could happen.
Nah, it would have meant putting in some effort.[/QUOTE]
