Liverpool actually did try to re-sign him when he was at Blackpool though, Tone (he was a Liverpool youth player before he went to Blackpool).

Blackpool quoted too much money so Brendan Rodgers went for a cheaper option and bought Coutinho for £8m from Inter :hehe:
