Set the game alight last night when he came on.
Was actually their best player going forward in the time he was on. Didn't even know he was playing for them
It was lucky escape for us when he rejected us after our £8m bid was accepted
Seems to have had a strange career this lad. Could have joined Liverpool, Inter Milan, Monaco yet ended up at Palace, Huddersfield, Stoke & now Luton. Always seemed to turn the big boys down after an offer was made as well. Weird one. Each to their own I guess but yeah, no regrets he didn't sign for us in the end.
Another player who belived his own hype ,he was lucky that clubs bought him and put him on a false excessive wage profile .
Rather than applying a hard work development approach since his early fame he's more than happy to earn decent dosh at this level and see his career out .
Would never have caught the media limelight , if his dad hadn't been Paul Ince, great example of making money out of hype and desperate clubs .
Youre talking bollocks mate. Hes a very decent Championship player in his own right. Hes scored 80+ goals in the Championship (or above) from attacking midfield / wing. Regardless of who his father is / was that is not to be sniffed at.
He scored 18 in the Championship the one season, when he was 20 years old, that would have got him attention and limelight regardless of who his father was.
I thought his dad talked him out of coming to us. The lad himself had agreed terms n stuff I believe? He's a bit shit now anyway - Why do our fans always seem to swoon over either past or passed it players?
