Mine is Rosalind Franklin for her unsung work in the structure of DNA , others took the Nobel Peace prize ( all men ) lately her ground breaking work was recognised, sadly she died of cancer at the tender age of 37 .

Interesting. My first experience of this ( in Poland) all of the males got together and bought roses for all of the females to thank them for being female. It was nicely done, in good taste and very respectful. Couldn’t see in happening in the UK
