She was married at the time , to a bloke , then changed sides , and married a woman

Demonic?? I'd say, shit voice! That's the problem with thrash , not one of the vocalists can carry a tune so to cover themselves they growl like a dog with a bad case of piles!!

Slayer were the slowest of the thrash metal bands

Once they hit their stride with reign in blood , south of heaven and seasons in the abyss they were slow , grinding and influenced by Sabbath........Tom Araya is a very clear vocalist and his voice fits the menacing drive of slayer perfectly

Hes certainly not a growler if you will pardon the phrase
