Denmark fans are being allowed to travel to Amsterdam. Shoddy stuff this.
We're the Birmingham City of the 1956 FA Cup playing every game away from home.
Oh no they`re not At least I think that is how it stands
Before you complain that it's unfair Denmark will be able to have fans present at the match - they won't either.
Sadly for the Danes, Denmark is also not on the Netherlands' safe countries' list, so the same restrictions apply to them as fans living in Wales, even though they are in the EU.
He told a press conference Danish fans could technically avoid quarantine in the Netherlands if they entered and exited within 12 hours, under a rule allowing travellers with a ticket or quarantine declaration showing their stay is shorter than that period of time to enter the country without needing to go into self-quarantine.
However, he later clarified to BBC Wales that the Danish government was advising fans not to travel, adding: "We do that partly because the Dutch government strongly advise to self-quarantine for 10 days upon arriving in the Netherlands if you stay longer than 12 hours."
The Dutch government has previously said the 12-hour rule would not apply to Wales' fans because the UK is outside the EU/Schengen area, unless they fall into an exemption category, but this does not include being a football supporter.

I almost hope the Dutch make it to the semifinals at Wembley and we dont let them in……
At least that would be consistent with how the UK treated fans from Croatia and the Czech Republic. I don't thinks the UK in or out of the EU is the issue here. Denmark gets a bit of a pass being in Schengen though considered riskier than other Schengen countries so more hurdles. The UK being outside Schengen would have been subject to different rules anyway but the Delta/Indian variant is the key here and the key reason why travellers from the UK are effectively shut out from Holland.
How difficult would it be to get tickets?
I’m thinking of flying over for the weekend.
I got a mail from UEFA today inviting applications for various matches, on the basis that I have had previous tickets cancelled.
This match was one of them. I clicked on one of the ticket prices and went into some sort of queue, but quickly dropped out as I wouldn't go anyway with all the hassle.
So - on the face of it - tickets still available through the official site.

Have you seen this?
I’ve booked a flight to Amsterdam.
No luck with the UEFA site for tickets.
Hope I don’t end up paying what I did for Wales v Ireland for the World Cup Qualifier.
Got a match ticket through my Brother.
He also got me tickets for Italy for last year.
I missed out on France in Euro 16, having spent a couple of months in Wales before and after my Mam died.
So happy to go to this even if a mullering is on the cards!!
