What an absurd plan.
Whatever the merits problems outside grounds near kick off time are already an issue.
Who is going to enforce this lunacy.
Boris is bonkers.

It's probably a carrot and stick approach.
It is wrong on every level
Labour will oppose this, especially as it affects predominately Labour-voting folk. That's what opposition parties are for.
Like f**k they will !
Great idea
Why not , vaccinating safes lives ?
Club needs to issue a statment NOW - only two weeks to frst game.
Great idea. The 30th September deadline mentioned allow everyone to get both jabs if they are quick and haven't had a first jab.
Should people not want to take up the offer that's their right to disengage from society as long as there is an exemption for those with a genuine medical reason not to do so.
What about those who are pregnant, or for whatever reason can't have the injection
Also the vaccine doesn't stop you getting covid it just lessens the risk of serious illness.
Our fan base is so old does it even matter
They should have some way to identify people who have a good reason for not having the vaccinations
Your second sentence beggars belief.
What is better not having the vaccine at all (or a mild version?)?
Or being seriously ill and possibly permanently affected or even dying???
And yes I do realise it is still possible to get seriously ill and even die if you have been vaccinated but from the scientific evidence the chances of this happening are far far less.
The vaccine stops the majority getting COVID, and as you say, it stops serious illness. There will be some instances but if they're pregnant etc, surely they'd need to shield anyway? If you don't want to get a jab, that's fair enough but it is clear this is just the start.
The second sentence of your post is just not true. You haven't been listening to the scientific information. After two jabs, the main vaccines in this country are around 60-70% effective at stopping people getting Covid at all and 85-90% effective at stopping serious illness, hospitalisation and death. They also reduce transmission of the virus by at least 50%. There are groups of people who wont get these levels of protection due to medical treatments/conditions etc (the shielders) who make up around 5% of the total population but the vast majority of the remainder will get these levels of cover. It is therefore entirely sensible and reasonable that anyone who could have the jabs but cant be bothered should be barred from attending large events. Why should the vast majority who have done the right thing and protected themselves and other people, be placed at risk. Shielders and other vulnerable groups can also make their own decisions and protect themselves as they see fit, if and when attending such events.
Surely Mark Drakeford must make a decision too. I can't believe Boris can make rules up for Welsh football clubs.
It can’t apply to Wales, otherwise Glamorgan wouldn’t currently be ‘sold out’ with poor crowds.
Apparently vaccine cards are just for you, if you need prove then you have to go on the Welsh government website.
The NHS one to print out as proof only works in England
Whether you're pro vax that believe all the positive data or a anti vax that believe all the negative data. It's still a slippery slope for freedom and democracy.
They were interviewing some youngsters on the news recently, asking why they didn't want the vax.
Best (worst) answer was one guy saying that it ws loaded with microchips so that Bill Gates can get all your bank details.
I think its a great idea. Makes it safer for everyone, it's also likely to make some of the selfish unvaccinated people get the vaccine. Heard lots say they will only get it if they will need it to go on holiday etc .
