  • Would would save Mick on Saturday?

    A win?
    A convincing win?
    A draw?
Another "encouraging" performance even if we lose?
    Actually scoring a goal?
Anything, because they're not actually going to sack him whatever happens?

I fear it could be the bottom. I fear we cant replace him due to finances.

I cant think of any reason hes still at the club.

Virtually the whole fan base wants him out.

A fundamental change in employment law that would prevent anyone being "let go' before retirement.

If we turned into Barcelona from about 2010.

He'll be here until the international break regardless

I wonder if a lot is in play , player under performances , pay out of MM contract , potential extra costs of new managers /coaches ,funds for new players every new manager wants , in the background is a £15 million Sala transfer liability hanging over the club and the impact Covid had on the revneues and FFP.

A thumping win against middlesborough - even then it's only a maybe.

I suspect a loss might be enough for him to go with maybe some reduced settlement. To be honest that would be the best result for Cardiff.

                          I think avoiding defeat.

They clearly feel he still has something to offer or he would have left after WBA, certainly after Swansea.

The board are also conscious of the financial outlay but that can only be a primary concern if they don't actually feel we are being relegated.

Personally the team has relegation with a whimper all over it at the moment and I'd be concerned that each week this goes on the harder it will be for a new manager to fully turn it around.

Letting in goals for days, not scoring, no goal in first half, one goal against basically ends us, no one is confident, lack of leaders beyond the captain who has been well out of form himself.

The last point is annoying as for a few seasons we had loads.
