You’re not the first to point this out, mate.
We’ve had our share of opportunity, with the money to go with it and here we are, in a relegation battle.

Football is a multi million pound business nowadays and with all the money that comes in and goes out, we have a string of old (for the most part) crap managers playing hoofball for the past ten years? no clear transfer strategy or philosophy on the pitch. We basically just hire dinousaurs to play dinosaur football, time after time.
Comparing us to the likes of Brentford is just laughable, financially Tan is far richer than their owner too. All the money Tan has wasted, imagine if he put it into paying clever people to build some structure? Even Swansea get their manager decisions right for the most part, they always try to get their manager in with an idea on how he wants to play and then build around that.

Couldn't agree more.
A lack of passion, interest and knowledge from owner to first team. Wholesale changes needed but we're relying on a bloke who would never admit he is wrong (we'll ignore the red debacle that was lunacy to anybody but him) to admit he is wrong.
Never going to happen. It is a shambles.
I don't even want to watch us play anymore, it's not enjoyable to watch the crap football served up.
Even if we was winning, it's not enjoyable.
There are issues throughout the club - Cardiff City seeking 'extra finances', says chairman Mehmet Dalman - BBC Sport
That’s a cheerful read.
Relegation it is
If there truly is no money available for transfers in January then we are down.
Why oh why have we always been so unlucky with shit owners? You'd think we deserve a break sometime, surely?
How on gods name is Tan a ‘shit owner’. He has kept the club alive with about £200m of his own money and presided over a 10 year period where we have had unprecedented success as a club and been an established Championship club. One bad string of performances and results and the keyboard warriors on here have had enough and want him to jump ship. You and some others are acting like spoilt brats, throwing the toys out of the pram.
Worse clubs ? That's been promoted twice made FA and League Cup final as a Championship side ??
Take a look at Derby, Reading, Hull etc. Cardiff have been pretty well run over the past few years. Tough times now but it’s the first time in many years Cardiff have struggled at this level. It had to happen at some stage.
Last decent manager ( at the time and was well thought of in the football world and was going to use us as a stepping stone for bigger things ) was Malky, yes I know he has his issues ( but has attempted to put them right going on various courses ) but he was the last manager that wasn't old and past it
He's a shit owner because he's ignorant, vain, egotistical and totally inept when it comes to football and the business of football. He's just rich. And the only reason he's had to pump so much money into the club is because of everything I mentioned in the first sentence.
Also, it's not just "one bad string of performances and results" you ****ing numbskull. We've sacked our last 5 managers for the same reason. The other one was sacked out of spite. So wind your ****ing neck in and go and hide until the new bloke comes in. Then you can start wanking over him. Your contribution to this board is absolutely pathetic. You should be ashamed.
This troll has got to be the worst by far on this otherwise great site. He/she/it constantly puts people down for just having an honest opinion and invariably uses unacceptable abuse. He/she/it barges into other people's conversations with negative nonsense. It would be wonderful if he/she/it made a positive contribution to the board for a change ....just once would be terrific! instead of constantly sniping at people.
With the current parlous state of football finances, it's not surprising that the club's prime focus has been reducing the wage bill. I'm sure with more prudent transfers/loans in and out over the past 12 months, we could be looking at a mid to lower half league position.
Unfortunately, player acquisition and disposal hasn't been our strongest quality for some years !
